Attaching the Camera Wire

The camera wire is located in the camera packaging, under the plastic holder.

It is used to allow you to record video footage without the use of a smart device. When the wire is attached the function button on the remote control will start and stop the recording.

To attach the wire follow these steps:

1. Remove the shell (for more information please see the removing the shell tutorial).
2. At the front of the PCB is a 4 pin socket. Make sure the wire is the right way round and gently push in the wires plug head into this socket.
3. Fold the wire over the PCB and insert the other end to the corresponding socket in the camera module.

Now when you use press the function button on the remote control the camera will start recording and a second press will end the recording.
